Her parents are divorced. She's a nerd. She's a grunge. She's all the components of being a so-called, "nobody" at East Archipelago High. AnnaMaría Alvarez , Marie for short, knows she's a nobody and so does everybody else. EAH seems divided by popularity, but when exclusively popular, Matt Scribner, shows affection to Marie, the student body doesn't exactly get the last laugh.

Can a grunge and a jock be together with a positive outcome? Who knows? This is life, not algebra.
