Basically this starts when Dimitri leaves Rose. 'Love Fades. Mine has.' But he doesn't come back. Instead he attempts to fall in love with Tasha. But he can't. However in six years he comes back .Only to find out that Rose has adopted a little red headed Moroi named Maggie. Maggie's parents who turned strigoi and Rose was sent on a rescue mission to save Maggie. Once she found the baby she was healed from Dimitri's burns. Maggie becomes her life. But when Dimitri comes back he sees the family he has really been longing for. Will Rose take him back? You'll have to read it.Complete

This is the one shot that someone managed to talk me into turning into a full story. Rose goes to Russia after Dimitri after he becomes a strigoi. But what happens when instead of him being restored he turns her? Do they attack the moroi and dhampir world and bring it to its knees? Do they take control of the whole world? After leaving unannounced, Dimitri finds himself regretting his choice to leave Rose; and even though Tasha doesn't want the two to be together, she takes off of work when the two receive a letter from Rose that held a small plastic tube, and a picture. (Lissa is Queen, bond never broke, and Rose is her Guardian.) (My version of the story.
