Being a werewolf isn't as glamorous as people think it is. First of all, if you're not part of the higher status, you're bullied. If you aren't the best athlete, you're bullied. If you're a small, you're bullied. If, by chance, your sexuality is different, you'll be bullied. Any way that you dishonor the Werewolf Community or the Pack, you're brutally beaten, sometimes even killed. Second, people seem to think "Being a werewolf is so nice, you get a soul mate!" Well, sorry to break it to you but, who wants some unknown force to choose who you fall in love with? If your 'mate' doesn't like you and rejects you, you'll die. Sometimes physically, sometimes mentally, sometimes emotionally. Whatever it is, you'll never be the same again. Ever.

River Blaid, a son born in the Middle Class of the Bright Lotus Moon is the black sheep of his family. Not only is he not a very good athlete, extremely short, and unpopular, he's gay. Of course, being a werewolf means that you must be 'hot' and 'popular'. Not for River. He's extremely intelligent, oblivious, and a target for bullying, not only in the Pack, but in school and at home. Most Humans don't believe he is a SB, let alone a Werewolf.
The Alpha of the Bright Lotus Moon Pack is a mysterious fellow, no one except for the Highest Class had met him. Supernatural Community, SC, announced a visit for all SB and Humans to gather and meet one another, hoping for the SBs to find their mates.
