"Y-You don't have to do that-" I finally managed to croak out. He didn't reply verbally, only a shrug of his shoulders. 

"I'm serious- I can do it.." 

Nolan looked up at me, studying my face for a brief moment before setting the papers he had collected on my lap, nodding his head and standing up while also brushing himself off. I looked down at the remaining papers on the ground then looked back up again, only to notice he was no longer there. I exhaled rather loudly before grabbing the rest of my music sheets and walking quickly to the music classroom. 

That was close.

Little did I know, that was not going to be my last encounter with Nolan Myers
