What makes your life worth living? For nineteen year old Seraphina Blackford, it's her younger brother, Caiden. Her whole world revolves around him, what is left of the world that is. It's been three thousand years since the last technology was around and the Earth is falling apart. After The Great Break governments fell and chaos took over. After a deadly attack on her home she is forced to go out in search of this fabled safe-haven to fulfill her brothers greatest wish: to find Paradise. During this quest she must enlist the help of Breccan Dolemo, an overconfident jerk who somehow got mixed up in a clan that kills for sport. Not only has he murdered but Breccan has made himself a sworn enemy of Sera's. Can they put aside their differences in order to find Paradise? Or will Caiden's life goal go on unfulfilled?

I was inspired to write my own Ashley Graves x Male Reader story. I am fearful. I'm not sure how good this will be, because Ashley is a bit of a hard character to write. If anybody has tips or ideas for me, they are very much appreciated. Hunger was the only thing inside that apartment. Real hunger. The kind that twists your stomach and leaves the pantry echoing and empty. We had nothing. No bread, no rice, no miracle waiting to appear out of nowhere. I joked that I could just eat the neighbor. Ha. A desperate attempt to lighten the mood.
