Johnnie is heartbroken because no one in his family accepts him because he is gay, his mom died in a accident and his father blames him because she was going to pick up johnnie when he was in middle school and now he is in highschool, he is now in a foster home but his parent's just took him with them because of pity his new foster parents are mean and rude to Johnnie they abuse him, Johnnie is also in his last year of highschool he has no friends to support him but that will all change when he meets the new kid Kyle.
