My brother and I are the schools bad asses. We don't care for rules or detention. Teachers can go shove detention where and sun don't shine. We are the leader of an organisation that kills rogue wolves, vampires, and other monsters that want to harm people. My brother is head trainer for our organisation. Where as I do all the paperwork, it's relaxing and I'm too hard on people when training. I am part witch part vampire. I can perform magic spells from books and I have enhanced hearing and speed. My brother is part witch part werewolf, but his werewolf side is more dominant. He can't perform magical spells without my help. We are the best and people don't know our names. So they gave us one. "You shouldn't be here," I whisper-yelled to him. "I shouldn't," he agrees. "I should let them kill you," I added as he began to walk slowly towards me. "You should," he tucks a loose strand of hair behind my ear," But you won't." I'm about to argue that I will when he brings his lips down to meet mine in a slow, thought-halting kiss. Then another. Then another. ____ Do you know what death is like? I do. I've lived through a million deaths a million ways, it's all the same. There is no angel standing next to you to help you up, no bright light, just a cold feeling followed by something I can only describe as numb. I can't complain though, I was born to see these things. I was born to see death and to stop it. That's what oracles do. So when I foresee the death of the entire wolf race, I need to find a way to stop it. Only to find out that the one who ends the race is, in fact, my own mate. Can I find it in my heart to let him be killed? Or can I stop the end from coming another way? This is part of a series, you can get by without reading the first book but be warned that it contains spoilers if you read the previous one later. Book 2.
