Okiday.) to yourself. 1) This is a fanfiction, meaning that I took certain artistic liberties. I am very aware that he's not like this IN THE MOVIE (the actually books THAT ARE CANONICALLY ACCEPTED and the comics are WAY different and you actually do get a peek into Kylo's mind and how he's actually really lonely because Han was "too busy" being Han and Leia was "too busy" leading a rebellion to spend time with and love their son. [Just proves you only truly love something after it's left you and joined The Dark Side.] End rant.). 2. How do you expect a love story to form between two people when one of them is emotionally closed off and standoffish? IT'S A LOVE STORY? 3. I'm super proud of this (considering it's the first story I've finished IN YEARS), so don't put cat-crap in my ice cream, alright?

Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens! Star Wars: Duel of the Fates
This is my version of the third chapter of the new Star Wars trilogy. I will not change anything that happened in either Force Awakens or Last Jedi. I will uphold the restrictions that resulted from the sad death of Carrie Fisher and will only draw from the deleted scenes or audio from pre-existing Star Wars movies and properties. Whilst I appreciated what Last Jedi was trying to do, I did not actually like it. However, I have no intention of undoing any of the main plot points or revelations that were in it. E.g. Rey will certainly not be a Palpatine. The story will not contain any Reylo. I know, I know: I love it too, but it was really weird seeing it as canon in the Rise of Skywalker. Do not expect it here. I am a big Star Wars fan and will be adding things from as wide a field as possible. All planets will be based on actual places mentioned or visited in the various movies and tv shows.
