The Definition of Love

What is love?

Webster says that love is a strong affection of another arising out of kinship or personal ties.

But really when is love in a relationship that cut and dry. Relationships go through ups and downs and if love is their relationship it should last.

Shouldn't it?

Jason Planters is the 24 year old gang leader of an inner city gang named the Sapphire's in Detroit. Jason has had a hard life and has harden his heart from from the people that care about him the most. But Jason has a secret, one that tearing him apart and pulling him closer to the darkness inside his heart.

Erica Pops is... Well Erica is different. Erica is a 16 year old junior in high school and enjoys life to the fullest. She has never been one of the popular girls not because she was not beautiful but because that was not her style. Erica enjoys being different and helping people understand themselves and find the happiness that they have lost.

What happens when these two unlike people meet up in an even more unlikely place and find themselves undeniable attracted to each other. Will Erica bring light into Jason's never ending dark world or will she be sucked into the darkness never to see the light again.
