In the second book of The Next Generation series the tables are turning. Time is running out for everyone. Olympus is weakening, the Egyptian gods are fading, and all of the gods are fighting amongst themselves. Chaos rules as everything is inexplicably thrown out of balance.                                              While the immortals are crumbling, six magical teens are fighting their own battle. But, promises that must be broken, betrayals of friends and family, and ancient secrets may tear the group apart. It also doesn't help that Eva is being plagued by vivid nightmares and Sarah is haunted by the Prophecy. Or that Jace is struggling with his past and Corin is trying to understand his growing powers. And also Bleu is hearing voices in his head and something's got it out for Robin.                               Everyone seems to have their own brand of crazy, but when they reach their limit which of them will rise and which of them will fall?  When news comes they realize that everything is so much worse than they thought. Her mom has decided that going to New York for vacation would be a good idea. They're now staying in a hotel close to the beautiful sights of Long Island Sound and hopes to relax. But then she sees something by the Sound. . . . Cornelius has grown up in the ghetto and has learned to be tough. He's picked up many things on the streets and has lived off his wits and strength. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father.
