Embark on an epic journey along Kai, the newly recruited member of the Normandy. He will take you to the deepest corners of space, where the both of you will find out what lurks in the darkness, and prepare yourself to feel the chill going up and down your spine when strange discoveries and mysterious events are thrown into the light . . . The story of Graceyn Shepard - life, death, rebirth, and life once again. "If It Meant Living" covers the game trilogy and much more. While Shepard is the primary focus, major characters are given significant attention and love (especially later in the story). Canon is only respected so long as it’s worthy, so don’t get comfortable thinking you know what’s going to happen :). Note: The ME2 and ME3 stories will be published as separate works, as well as the sequel ("Beyond") and the one-shots ("Tales") - but it is fundamentally one over-arching story. The "R" rating is for language, violence and (eventually) sexual situations. Bioware owns all rights to Mass Effect and its characters.
