There was a Blackout every week. Not the kind you think though. It's an actual Blackout at night. To be more specific, it's when this group of teens go around every Friday night, wearing all black, running the neighborhood. They manage to cut all the power from eight to eight. Everyone knew to be in the house by eight on Fridays, it was practically a neighborhood rule now. I mean everyone followed it because of what happened to the first guy who didn't. They found his body in a dumpster in the alley next to the corner store. I'm Jess, Jess Waters. I go to Gooding High. I'm not a no one but I'm also not known. My best friend is Crystal Pine. Even after years of experiencing the same thing at night over and over again, she still wasn't able to figure out why she was being haunted by the entity in her closet since the day she turned eleven. She eventually decided not to ponder about it anymore and get used to the situation. But then, a couple of days before her seventeenth birthday, she starts to discover a very dark past that has way more to do with herself than she could have ever imagined." I can't believe my longest story is written in English (since that isn't my native language), but it is and I'm... kinda... PROUD of it!
