But to most people she is just Princess Ayra, heir to the Throne of Darkness and ruler of vampire kind.
When she is sent to London by her mother, the queen, she is determined to prove that she is more than a title and a tiara.
She attempts to help the leader of the London Clan find the vampire responsible for betraying them to the slayers that resulted in the death of half their family. However the traitor doesn't want to be found and soon frames Ayra's friend, Nick.
As Ayra tries to clear Nick's name, she has to fight her way past the cruel, clan leader and his handsome son, deal with threatening letters and catch a criminal who refuses to be caught all while balancing school, family and a relationship that is falling apart.
