When Sollux suggests they play a new game with this group of aliens and everyone agrees, everything goes wrong and Karkat has to try and help them. When Karkat, as the leader of the trolls, meets the leader of the aliens they try their hardest to save their friends and themselves. Can they or is it foolish?

Just another story of Davekat (Dave Strider+Karkat Vantas) Or is it..? Dave Strider, the cool, ironic, kid with shades, has to help guide one of the new kids in school but it turns out to be an old friend. Karkat Vantas, the cute, crabby asshole has signed up for human school and is getting a 'guide' or whatever to help him get used to school. Well look who it turns out to be; Dave Strider. A Life Made In A Movie. A Very Bad Movie [DAVEKAT]
Karkat Vantas. A very unpopular, short, and short-tempered troll. He tries desperately to make it through his first year in a human school, but with everyone still not fully accepting trolls added on with his so-called 'stupid' blood color, he can't find a single person who understands him, yet. Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? (this is my second fanfic and the first homestuck one i've ever written so if the writing sucks don't judge! also none of the art is mine. ships included will most likely be johndave at the beginning, and throughout the fic theres gonna be erisol, rosemary, some jadenep, johndirk, and vrisrezi! if you don't like one or more of these ships deal with it.) After being added to an unknown online group chat with twelve other individuals, our four main characters realize that they would have to follow in their parents' footsteps: beating THE GAME. Only this time around, the sixteen of these players would have to deal with a lot more than an in-game war. The four main characters, being born into an apocalyptic version of Earth due to a new antagonist created by some nosy cherubs, come into this story already having a hard life. Defeating a galactic tyrant and ending an Alternian civil-war are just two of the many hardships these individuals would have to go through, along with internal conflict within their group due to obvious differences and many life-changes. (The world-building of this story is based on Homestuck, with the 20 original main characters only playing a small part. This story has all original characters, a whole new plot and hardships, and of course, drama!)
