The Monster Within is a modern retelling of the classic horror story Frankenstein. Set in modern times, Alphonse chronicles the life of his tormented son Victor and his disturbing quest of bringing back to life what he cherished so dearly; his wife and daughter. The story is told from Alphonse's point of view and through letters from Victor to his childhood friend Henry Clerval.
