17 year old Cassandra "Cass" Meyers is wrapped in an 1000 year old mystery. According to some dusty old books in the attic of her new home, she is the last descendant of a powerful witch clan! After she reads it, though, her mother mysteriously disappears! Cass must now set out to the dark forest behind her home to find her mother, and her clan members. Easy right? Wrong. The forest is a dangerous place, especially for someone who's never ventured in before. It is overrun by creatures that were never known to exist - some are friendly, some dangerous.
