Whimsy

Cassie and Alex couldn't be more different. Cassie is outspoken and loud and is very capable of defending herself and surviving dangerous situations. Alex is quiet and shy, but has an incredible love of gadgets and technology.  They never knew each other before they were both sent to Ms. Raine's Home for Children after their parents are killed by the same serial killer. When they are both brought to Whimsy, a world that combines the modern day world with a medieval times fairytale, they join a Resistance to fight an evil princess who uses powerful magic to control her subjects. Can they find a way home using only their abilities and perhaps a little magic? And is there more of a connection to them and Whimsy than they realize?
