"All you will ever be Alistair is a doormat, always following everyone else, always afraid to be yourself. " Gwen began with accusation clear in her tone, looking hurt that Alistair wouldn't stand up for himself none the less back her up.
"Don't you think I know that Gwen. I try to reach out but it's hard when you have been shot down as many times as I have. I just want to be liked" Alistair countered meekly shifting from foot to foot nervously awaiting Gwen's reaction
"Fine be a shadow, be weak and feeble, be imprudent, but don't talk to me anymore I can't love someone who can't love themselves. It's the hierarchy of needs, it's doomed to fail." Gwen said with venom in her tone. Soaking Alistair to the bone in her harsh bold shower of ridicule. She then turned around with a pivot and walked down the street. As she turned the corner she heard a sob but she kept walking too prideful to admit her words were far too enticing.

This is Gwen and Alistair this isn't your average love story. This is realer than that this shows peoples priorities. This isn't the weak girl and the protector boyfriend. This is about love and honesty.
