From New York to California, a former community college student is now attending UCLA in hopes to major in journalism. She had left her friends and family behind in the big apple to become an independent woman and focus on school and work.
Nicole is a 19 year old girl who has been saving up her money since she worked her first job as a waitress at Applebee's to attend UCLA, and also a little help from her parents. She believed California was the place for her to be her whole life. She grew up watching award shows with her favorite celebrities and dreamed of meeting them some day. Also, she knew it was the place for journalists and media.
While attending college, she has a job on the side which fills up her weekly schedule.
On her way to work one Saturday morning, she bumps into someone on the street. This particular person brings joy and fun to her life, but also conflict and confusion.
Will her life go as she always planned, or did she waste her time moving across the country?
