Halo is a story about a 17 year old girl named Parker Haywood who is reaped in the annual Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a televised broadcast that holds 24 tributes, from ages 12-18. Each district is to sacrifice one boy and one girl, to fight to the death. One lone victor may survive and bring peace and prosperity to their district. However, Halo is not a district but a city trying to fight its way free from the Capitol. 
Parker is pressured to win the Hunger Games for the freedom of her city and the safety of its people.All Rights Reserved
