In the year 2112, humankinds advancements in technology have progressed dramatically. 20 years prior, an archaeologist by the name of Professor Adam had discovered the first fully sentient machine inside of a lab from almost 100 years prior. An android capable of free will, thought and a near complete human personality named Alpha. More importantly he had the ability to evolve and grow in the same way as life. Both physically and mentally. 

The technology that made this android was more advanced than anything else on Earth at the time. It was so advanced, no one could fully analyze or understand how he was made. Realizing the potential for this technology, Adam had soon begun the production of a new generation robots who copied this technology. These robots were called "Machine Mutants", as since they are all imperfect replicas of the original project they were all made with modified designs. 

By the year of 2112 these machine mutants were mass produced and they were designed for every purpose and to do jobs regular humans couldn't do. They lived peacefully among humans due to their human-like personalities. However this peace wouldn't last. Since the programming wasn't perfected and since free will isn't perfect either violent and criminal attacks involving machine mutants began. 

These machine mutant criminals due to their malicious behavior were coined the nickname abnormals. Since human beings lack the physical ability to fight them properly, a world government police/military organization consisting of machine mutants known as the CURE who deal with mechanical threats across the world. The members of CURE are known as the abnormality hunters. These hunters fight for peace between humans and their robotic counter parts. Lets hope they can succeed.

Synthias are denied basic human rights because they are manufactured, not born. After staging an unsuccessful uprising, the facilities where Synthias are mass-produced undergo great changes. Synthia manufactories are re-opened as boutiques where a man's mate can be custom-ordered, right down to the various skills and knowledge the Synthia possesses. A truly male-oriented world emerges around this new technology. Adam, the first son of a Synthia, wants something more than a mere breeding machine. He wants a true partner and something like the "love" he only knows about from pre-war media. The Synthia he creates is something new that threatens to destroy the status quo... Adam's Synthia is not an it. We saw artificial inteligence turn against its maker, we saw them "get a soul" and stand up alongside their maker but what if? This story tells a tale somewhere in the future in a time when cloning, androids and space fairing is part of everyday life. Humans are fractured into smaller factions, one of them is the Old World's Core, the technologically superior and more stable systems, where people, despite the recessions and constant wars live in peace and harmony, no matter who or what you are. The other bigger faction is the Unknown Worlds' and The Outskirts' systems, warmongering, in-fighting, chaotic forces with far bigger army and resources. Finally those who are neutral, with their local militaries. One thing is certain, on the ground they use armies, tanks and Verticals (they're mechs, just having a fancy name for them) while the space battles are done with spaceships (duh). In this situation, we'll follow the "life" of an android, the first military oriented mech Pilot, one of the many, code name: EVAs (Experimental Vertical Anima). They're funded and manufactured inside OWC territory but some were stolen, corrupted, converted or went AWOL. over the decades, EVAs were phased out by the ADAMs (Anima-Differential compensator Automaton (Male-template), however, these were far behind their predecessors by proccessing power and independence, so much so that they had to work with a human pilot but in turn they were cheaper and given they had male appearance, the whining part of the population was satified that now not just "women" were used in automated combat [yep, we didn't change THAT much]. Since that day, when the first automated Verticals first clashed and the OWC lost their most valuable system, a piece treaty was signed. This is the day when the unionised new calendar was formed, the Unionised Standard (UT). It's been 10 years since that day and the treaty was broken. This is where our story begins.

The city is under poverty and is surrounded by a tall, thick wall that hopefully keeps all the titans outside the city and keeps everyone inside the city safe. Supposedly, the world is at the state that the world beyond the wall is just a wasteland from Ghidorah and his subordinate's wrath... but Katie suspects otherwise, that the world outside is not a wasteland. Lucas on the other hand doesn't believe Katie and he wants to keep him and his dad safe as he's the only family he has left. His dad is a very good man, he works as much as he can and makes as much money as possible to keep a roof over their heads. He often tells Lucas about a time when humans and titans lived together and harmonized thousands of years ago... and their ancestors were one of the rare and lucky humans to have a bond with these magnificent gods.
