As of the title, you can gather that Festus is going to show up a lot, along with other forgotten characters. In short, this is the story of how the gang meet The Moon-runners, a group of boys and girls who fight monsters, basically a group in between the hunters of Artemis and the Amazons.
But not all is as it seems. What ties do these new people have to the opposition? What are they hiding?
The only characters I own are the Moon-runners and Fanisha. All others belong to Rick Riordan.

I AM NOT RICK RIORDAN, HE OWNS THE CHARACTERS, BUT I OWN THE PLOT Leo is staying at the Waystation. What happens when an Instagram post derails his entire relationship with Calypso? Jason and Piper are living in the California Bay Area to finish their high school education. But making friends is hard and bullies are determined to make their lives misery. Percy and Annabeth are living with Sally, Paul, and 3 year old Estelle. But Tartarus, two wars, and five years of questing has tolled them more then they first thought, and hiding it is getting harder, especially when they go to school. Frank and Hazel are Praetors, (along with Reyna). And honestly, they are just passengers along for the ride. Part Two Frank, Hazel, and Reyna are at CHB to create an exchange program between the camps. But something is going on with the Fifth Cohort Percy, Annabeth, and Leo are going to school together. But Leo senses that something is wrong and is determined to figured out what it is Jason and Piper aren't really in this one This part contains panic attacks, but not flashbacks.
