O que você faria se tudo que você conhecia fossem partes de uma verdade? Se seu mundo virasse de cabeça para baixo? É isso que houve com Jake. No futuro, a mutação de genes ficou mais avançada e agora é usada para transformar as pessoas em soldados.  Jake será um deles.Uma semana antes de ser mutato, Jake e seu pai acham um dos deorum( falsos deuses) que deveriam estar mortos e o  capturam. Por ser da família mais importante do país , e que criou essa coisa(mesmo sem saber) ,Jake tem acesso ao prisioneiro. Como sempre foi curioso, perguntas são algo que ele não deixa de fazer a esse rebelde. Mas ele não gosta das respostas. Elas o confundem. No fim da semana , um ataque rebelde acontece. O prisioneiro, e alguns novos rebeldes são levados  até Naturae, uma cidade que devia estar deserta, que está dominada pela revolução. O que Jake fará agora? Se aliará as supostas vítimas ou voltará para seu mentiroso pai?

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? With approximately 2,500 people left in America and 15,000 left in the world, it isn't often you come across someone just passing by, there are three main groups that stick together The Beati, who are the apocalyptic version of a hippy, The Operarios Group (just normal people trying to survive), and then of course The Reluquos the power hungry killers who execute anyone who try's to get in their way or disagrees with them. Oh and then there are just the Loners like me hoping to find somewhere they can fit in and belong. I don't know what made me go this route but for some reason I did and now I'm standing face to face with a Reluquos Army Leader. His strong arm grips onto my Shoulder stopping me from moving, He regards me coolly studying my face for signs of fear, which I'm trying my damned hardest to suppress. Finally he talks....

And in this alliance he forms with me, he wants me to do nothing more but just keep silent about me and him and what happened to us in the past; leaving me speechless. As the secret is eating me alive, I start to feel terrible about keeping it from all of my friends; including Alex when I find out what he's been really thinking about me all this time I'm here. With time running out quickly and sunrise coming up, we all only got one last chance in order to make it out ALL alive. And my chances of escaping, may cost me my own life this time.
