Lavender however is blissfully oblivious of her friend's suspicions and thinks she is losing her mind with vivid nightmares and huge gaps in her memory. Valentina, meanwhile, would be happy with just one recovered memory. She would love to know how she became tattooed, or even just what the Chinese character on her ankle means. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.)
