Clare Morgan was adopted at the age of 10, changing her last name from Dell to Morgan. She now has three siblings. She is now an A+ student with the hopes of following her brother into the FBI. Although one of her siblings is a profiler for the FBI, even he can't see that she feels alone.

Spencer Reid's father left him and his mom when he was ten. He lived with his schizophrenic mothers until he had her committed when he was eighteen. He's been shot, kidnapped, and put into a coma, even set on fire. But even with the best minds in the world still can't figure him out all the time.
