Sie hat keine Eltern( ihr Sind bei einem Autounfall gestorben).Sie lebt im Heim.Sie hat sich vor genommen wenn sie in einer Woche 18 wird alles hinter sich zulassen und in einer neuen Stadt ein neues Leben zu beginnen . Also heißt es für sie von Texas nach Californien. Dort trifft sie auf ein aufgeschlossenes Mädchen das Hope anbietet bei ihr und ihrer Familie zu leben so lange sie ihren Schulabschluss hat und arbeiten kann.Doch Hope weiß nicht das , dass Mädchen das Laura heißt ein großen Bruder hat Travis. Und Hope und Travis können sich nicht leiden doch kann aus Hass auch liebe werden ??
