Peter is looking forward to getting out of the Burrow and going back to the place he learned magic, but he never expects Ron to meet someone he never thought he'd see again. He never expects Ron to befriend a boy who Peter recognizes. He never expects any of it, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
