Far Away

I did something to my neighbor that will
always haunt me.
We were all kids when it all happened
I didn't mean to do it.
I just got tired of it all.
I was 10 years old.
When my parent found out they decided to send me away.
I didn't know they would send me so far away that I didn't get to see no one for 6 years.
Not even for holiday or summer.
It was one simple mistake that drove me away from what I knew was all mine at the time.
She was my best friend.
Her brother saw it all.
He only knows why I did it.
But he also know it was an accident.
Well at least that's what I think.

"What are you doing out here you don't belong here."
"I was jus-"
"Who are you? Get out of my property. Now. What are you waiting for." He pulled me to the front of the house.
"I.. I... I"
"You what?"
"I lived there." I pointed to a house behind him.
"Lie I have live here my hole life."
"Me..me..too. Well...partly."
"What?"
