Albus Potter and the Tri-Wizard Tournament (Next-Gen HP Fan-Fic)

Albus Severus Potter, son of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, was sorted into Slytherin on September 1st, 2017. At first, his brother didn't approve -- "I was only joking! You didn't have to pick Slytherin!" -- but even James learned that they don't have to be just like their parents. He makes friends in the most unlikely of places and struggles to realize who exactly he has grown to be in the new wizarding world.
During his 7th year of schooling, Albus must face the harshest tasks that come with the Tri-Wizard tournament; trolls, cornish pixies, wizard arenas, misleading talking painting, and young love. Durmstrang Castle is littered with secrets and supporters of the dark arts, on top of winning the tournament for his school, Albus must destroy the threat lurking in the castle corridors.
Bonds will be tested during the 2024 Tri-Wizard Tournament.
I respect J.K Rowling's original concept and published works. All character (minus the rare OC for sake of shaking thing up) belong to the original Harry Potter Franchise. This is a fan-fiction with no means to steal original ideas. Thank you for reading!

Rose Weasley has always been the top of her class. She got it from her mum, the pure determination to soak in all the information that she learned because to her, there was nothing more interesting. This is my own version of the next generation's first year at Hogwarts. I wrote the majority of this story long before The Cursed Child came out, so it does not follow a similar plot line. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius struggle to be friends as they are sorted into different houses. Draco and Harry meet again, and this time, things are different. Scorpius explains how his mother died.
