After the death of his parents, Dick Grayson is taken in by his Uncle and trained to be a Talon. He has been training and preparing for four years of his life, and he only needs to do one thing until he can officially become a Talon. He needs to kill someone.... But he can't. So, he runs away and seeks refugee in Gotham. While there he meets some interesting people. A man, who dresses as a bat and fights crime, and a team of teenagers who also fight crime on their spare time. What will happen when he meets the team and Batman? And what will happen when they meet him?

The team are tasked to protect Richard Grayson, essentially be his bodyguards; he has been getting attacked and been receiving a lot of threats from the League of Shadows, and Batman believes he needs to be protected by the team despite protest from Richard. Some Info: I'll be taking some creative liberties with this fan fic that are separate from what is cannon. In this plot, Richard will be aged 14-15 (around YJ S1 Age), no one in the team knows his secret ID, even KF. Aside from his normal character stats, I will dabble in adding both singing and/ musical instrument to Richard's abilities. There will be good old BirdFlash within this fic as well. Dick Grayson, Ward of batman, is what the young justice describe: strong and cunning. He may crack jokes and have a bad child hood, but he has always been strong. When a mission goes wrong, the team gets beat and Robin gets kidnapped by Deathstroke. When the team awakens by the justice league, no one knows what happens or who took their little bird. They searched for him for three years before they gave up on their search, accepting his death. In those three years, Death stroke had broken Robin. When Robin failed a mission... well let's just say he has a temper when it comes to failure. Robin finally escapes the torture of the experiments and uses his new found power to guide his way through to the mountain. Because of the constant serum input, he is blind. Finally reunited with his old team, the team finds how secretive and broken Robin looks now and what will happen if his old master wants him back? How far will Deathstroke go to get him back?
