"People would do anything for money, wouldn't they? They'd risk their loved ones, their humanity, and even their lives for a minute chance of gaining wealth."
Aging multi-billionaire gambler, Marty Mort, with a mental state slowly deteriorating and descending into insanity is determined to make an impression on the world of casinos and gambling. He rents out a large casino in Vegas for a night and invites twenty people, all of whom are in desperate need of money into the casino for a private party, promising them the fortune of a million dollars.
However, this private party is not what it seems. Thrown into life-and-death situations by four professional gamblers handpicked and hired by Mort, the twenty competitors come to understand that the only way to win this money and survive the ordeal is to make it through a series of dangerous casino-themed tasks. And there will only be one survivor.

His Addiction
I turn and glare at him for giving me such a fright but he just stands there staring at me, then his eyes trail from my head down to my toes and only then did I become aware of my barely clad body in my nightie and my cheeks turn pink, my hands immediately fly to my chest to try and cover my poking nipples but it didn't do a good job of hiding them at all. I look up at him to see him taking quick strides towards me and my eyes widen as he brings his big rough hands to cup my face leaning in to kiss me. He lips cover mine hungrily and roughly as it takes complete control of mine while I stand frozen to the spot unable to really comprehend that Jaxon Moore of all people is kissing me. ******************************* Regina Hernandez an innocent twenty year old girl who was kicked out by her foster family in the middle of the night two years back moves to another city to start a new life, she secures a job at an elegant mansion as a cleaner meeting the most deliciously beautiful man she's ever met. The Game of Hearts
❝ If you want my heart, be aware of the spades. ❞ Picture this: life as a deck of cards. Matthew Clarke, the Golden Boy with golden locks and conceit in every inch of his green eyes, is the Jack of Diamonds, because his smile shines bright like one; and also because real ones are rare. Aiden Stuart is the King of Spades, of course, because that smirk of his? Yeah, it can kill. But his words? Those will cut you open and let you bleed. But hey, maybe you'll like it since he'll do it with a wink and a cigarette. Everyone loves bad boys, right? So, what could possibly bring these two archenemies together? Yeah, you guessed it. The end of the world. Kidding! Me. (But, really, it's the same thing.) And why? Because they make a bet to see who's going to be the first to kiss me and break my heart (I KNOW, cliché, right?). The thing is, I'm not someone they should have messed with. Because, my friends, I'm the Queen of Hearts. And maybe, just maybe, what I really want is a Joker. © imcountingstars10 original story | completed ( cover by graeysonn )Complete
