Fight or flight

Hunting is not the same thing as killing. Killing is easy; it doesn't require practice to stab a man in the throat, nor putting a bullet between his eyes. Anyone can do it. However, hunting is difficult. It takes a lot of patience when it comes to finding the prey, and it takes a lot of skill to put it down.
Especially if the prey is also a predator, hunting everything that moves

Alex is a huntress, and she knows what she's doing. She knows how to kill a werewolf, she knows how to kill a selkie, a vampire, a wendigo. She knows how to kill feral creatures that's out for human blood.

But what she doesn't know yet, but will have to learn, is how to teach someone else this knowledge.
