August Alsina is an up and coming R'n'B singer who's been trying for years to make it big in the industry along side his Instagram famous wife who in all honestly has assisted him in essentially getting his name out there.

However, not all is pitch perfect for him because he is only just managing to release himself from a toxic marriage that he was trapped in with his wife of 2 years; in their case though the stereotypical roles were reserved. By that I mean, he wasn't the one who did wrong.

After the situation between August and his ex-wife, he grows trust issues against a certain group of women that are found commonly in his home town and that he previously adored so much; the hoes. He vows that from then on, he'll try and find himself a real woman who can hold it down for him whilst he attempts to do the same in return.

What happens when August crosses paths with Miracle Watts, a 22-year-old woman with far more serious issues than himself?
