Jessica was born and raised in New York. The summer before her senior year his dear grandma Maggie passes away. Grandma Maggie makes her son promise that he'll move his family back to his home state, Texas to take care of her house and farm. Jessica is devastated but that soon changes when she meets Jacob, the farm boy that works for her father. Grandma Maggie has left Jessica her diary that leads on her on a great adventure to find a secret treasure. She befriends Jacob and he helps her on her journey to find it.
