Since birth, Princess Emma, the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, has been in an arranged marriage with the son of King Rumplestiltskin, Baelfire. When Emma reaches the age of 12, her parents send her off to stay with her future husband in the summer. But when she arrives, she meets Killian, Prince Baelfire's best friend. Killian lives in a village just outside the castle and is very poor. When the two meet it is love at first sight. The two grow closer and make plans to runaway when Emma is 18 and to be married. But what happens when she arrives and Killian is no longer there?
