After a virus spread after Black Friday (They called it the Dollar Virus, I spread by the transfer of money.it killed thousands and thousands nearly every week) the remaining NYC citizens were forced into a containment area called Dark Zone, what was left of them anyways. once you're in. you don't get out. Every day is a constant battle to live. Everyone there is armed and ready to kill, just for their territory. A few 100 are standing and they ARE ready to fire. Well...they're not the only ones with a gun

~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Amusement Park
I only came to the city to earn some money, so that I could help the people who remain in my home town. Who can't leave even if they wanted to. If they try the city poeple just send them back. "There's no room here for people like you." They would say. You had to have some real skills if you were able to come to the city and stay. I came here to work, and now I am being dragged to a place with flashly lights by a guy I don't even like. He is creepy, shelf-centered, and overall harsh to everyone around him. Little did I know he was planning on cause a tragedy.
