if you could define life by color, life before Him was kinda pale. the days were pretty and pink, but there was no warmth to give it vibrancy or nothing. every day was basically the same and exhaustingly boring. Pain. Everywhere. I could hardly breathe. But still, I forced myself to stay awake. I couldn't risk falling asleep. I looked at the small cage he had put me in, and sighed to myself. I felt my eyes lose their yellow colour, and go back to my usual colour, hazel. It wasn't easy, being taken away from your family at a young age, and being changed. Into a monster. I didn't know exactly what I was, but I even scared myself when he took me to the woods to hunt, like he just had. I wish he would just let me die. But he wouldn't. Every day, he told me that I was his most precious valuable, and he couldn't let me go. But that doesn't stop my small fantasy of him letting me die. Nothing ever would.
