Elizabeth was one of the first beings on earth. She created witches and vampires. She had great powers that no one but her knows the extent of.  When Katherine and Jeremy go to awaken Mikael the vampire who hunts vampires, Elizabeth decides to help them take down her old friend Klaus.  Katherine or Katerina, as Elizabeth calls her, learns that when she was still human Elizabeth posed as her cousin when she is in fact her very great grandmother. Can Stefan be saved from the ripper inside him? What will happen to Elena? Will Damon find love? Read to find out.
