Jessica had been playing hockey and dancing since she was a kid. Her father was a professional hockey player. After her dad died Jessica took hockey a lot more seriously and became a professional herself. When she moves to Kansas she quits playing hockey and starts dancing for the Thunder dance team "the Lightning girls". She soon falls in love with Dalton Reum who is a thunder hockey player.
