Taken For Granted

The media sees us happy.

I see us torn.

"I'm sorry baby. Please don't leave me," he begs holding onto my arm. "I'll treat you better."

I stare blankly at him.

Weeks ago he'd wouldn't come home till morning. He'd never care about my feeling, but now that he sees that I'm done with him, he wants to beg for me to comeback, for what, to continue to do the same stuff?
