Lucy was your normal popular girl until her mom dies and her dad leaves. After that she turned into a nerdy, quiet girl that no one likes. She was left with her step mom and step sisters. The only problem was that her step mom and step sister abused her right after her dad left. The only person who really cared for her was one of the step sisters she had, Gracie.
Aiden was the bad boy at school. He is dared to make the nerdy girl fall for him. After a while he starts to confuse fake feelings between real ones. what happens when he starts to fall for her? Then he wants to protect her from everyone, even her step mom?

Well, there's always a nerd that's weak and bullied. That's either the damsel in distress or she suddenly turns badass. But sorry to say, my story is completely different. "Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around.
