Fixed At Zero

The curiosity of what could be inside had already began to eat at me. I picked up the item, it feeling foreign in my hands. I never thought I would see it again, I was hoping to never see it again. I guess you can't always get what you wished for. I inspected the watch, it being a decade since I've last touched it. Turning it in my hands, my finger grazed over the button that was on the side. I pushed it, and illuminating right before me was a countdown.
