With a fascination for the morbid and thoughts that tend to be on the perverse, Cecil Filmore is determined to win over the heart of a girl whom he can not decide whether he loves or loathes. He believes he is in the friend zone, but honestly it is just him being a whiny teenager who thinks he is much better than his optimistic lady friend. He thinks of her as useless one minute and as a master piece the next. Her Grandpa, who is a hunter, preserves dead animals and is a respectable man in Cecil's eyes, a respectable man who owns a shelled creature in which he can not stomach. A dead body is found and new feelings are stirred.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
