All werewolves have mates. So what happens when you fall for someone before you're 18... "Hopefully hes my mate" is all Markie can think as she waits for her 18th. This is a short story that takes place in the middle of "Orphan Wolf". It can be read independently but will have spoilers if you intend to read "Orphan Wolf"... I of course would suggest you read it and pause at the point I marked to read "Markie" but the choice is yours. Story excerpt "Come on Ryan leave me alone!" A boy yells. "You started it Francis... come on pup don't start that with me... I don't have time for this! GO HOME!" I felt the command. I see the little 8 year old boy from last night run away crying, one of Ruby's cousins. When I turn the corner I see a boy about 20 and am hit with an overpowering smell something like fresh cut wood and autumn leaves. It is amazing. I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" "The one you want isn't mate. He isn't yours. He isn't interested... I want mate!" "No." I block her out and climb down the tree.Complete

Y/n had gotten too close to a chimps cage and the monkey grabbed them by their shirt, and almost pulled them into the enclosure but their dad had taken their place and died from blood loss. y/n on the other hand had only needed a prosthetic eye and they preferred to get a mask due to half of their face being scratched off my the chimps nails. So they went to live with their mom, but their moms crazy ex would not stop stalking and following their mom so they moved. Their moms ex didn't follow so they ended up staying in their new home, or should I say apartment, Addisons apartments to be more exact. 'End of y/n's background info' When you moved in to your apartment, room 403, mom told you to go say hi to some of your new neighbors, and that's when you met sal fisher, or as he said 'his friends' call him sally face, and Larry Johnson. You meet Sal and Larry's friends and make one of your own too, Travis. Todd, Ashley, Larry, Sal, and yourself encounter some weird stuff. Todd seams to have found something out, way quicker then y/n would have liked at that... What is y/n? Only one way to find out! I didn't want to rip you from your family and innocence. I know this is a lot, but this is all happening because you now almost of age to be my Alpha Queen." My angel looks as if she was going to pass out. "Prove it." She asks in disbelief. "Do you want me to show you my wolf?" She nods hesitantly. "I will. Promise not to scream or run away. My wolf does love the thrill of the game of chase." She shudders at my response and I frown. I begin stripping myself of my clothes. "I suggest you close your eyes or turn around, if you don't want a show." The red color returns to her cheeks and she blushes, covering her eyes. Bones cracking and fur sprouts out from my human skin to transform into my large black wolf. With one look at me, it was enough for my angel to faint.
