The marble was green. An aqua colour with flecks of blue. It was pushed across the grey floor and hit the wall of Elouise's cell, rebounding. It made her breathe heavily, fists clenching as she laughed and made the marble roll out through the bars of the cell. Her laugh was high, a constant beat. Her pupils dilated and she tore her shaking white fingers through her coppery hair. She screamed.
