A strange pandemic has killed most of the British population and forced the last of humanity into a battle for survival. "Savages" now roam the vast English countryside and are destroying everything they find. 

Rob Haining is a countryside survivor that has spent the entirety of his life dreaming about the legendary city his father would fondly tell him about. It is the only place where humans live in safety, and where everyone is provided with supplies and shelter in abundance.

After his home is destroyed by a vicious Savage attack, Rob is the last survivor, and with nowhere else to turn, he embarks on a journey to seek out the fabled city, and finally realise his dream. Upon arriving, he realises not everything is as it seemed, and he begins unravelling a conspiracy bigger than anything he could imagine.
