In this dystopian, romantic, comedy, sci-fi fantasy - I know, you're intrigued already - Juliette and Scarlet Mason live in complete opposite worlds. The earth has been separated into two groups. The Outsiders, and the Arcadians. Arcadia is what the world has been turned into. It has started decaying and been destroyed in wars. But now they have gathered all the living humans, and rounded them up into a section of what used to be the USA. Now it is called Arcadia. Arcadia is order and organization. Whereas the people that rebelled and developed the Waste, are quite the opposite. They don't believe in making people think one way, or act how they want you to act. They treat people like they are. Real, living human beings. But when the twins are separated at birth, and one ends up in Arcadia, and the other in the Waste, will they ever meet? Will they ever see each other again? Or get to know one another? This story will take you through the life of both sisters, and you will find the struggles of living in this futuristic world are much greater than anyone could have anticipated.

Two opposite sides come face to face, forcing each other to reconsider their version of the truth. *** A minority of the world's population carries a genetic modification. They are called deviants and some develop an ability by the age of seven. In the United States of America, deviants and humans fought each other in the Great War, which ended when the deviants lost. Fifteen years later, everyone lives finally in peace. But when an assassination takes place, it sets in motion several events that put Emily Roberts, the poster child of deviant integration, face to face with Rachel Moore, the leader of the terrorist group for the liberation of deviants. What is the truth and is it worth finding it out? Warning: depiction of trauma / violence / abuse.
