In this dystopian, romantic, comedy, sci-fi fantasy - I know, you're intrigued already - Juliette and Scarlet Mason live in complete opposite worlds. The earth has been separated into two groups. The Outsiders, and the Arcadians. Arcadia is what the world has been turned into. It has started decaying and been destroyed in wars. But now they have gathered all the living humans, and rounded them up into a section of what used to be the USA. Now it is called Arcadia. Arcadia is order and organization. Whereas the people that rebelled and developed the Waste, are quite the opposite. They don't believe in making people think one way, or act how they want you to act. They treat people like they are. Real, living human beings. But when the twins are separated at birth, and one ends up in Arcadia, and the other in the Waste, will they ever meet? Will they ever see each other again? Or get to know one another? This story will take you through the life of both sisters, and you will find the struggles of living in this futuristic world are much greater than anyone could have anticipated.

| 𝟳𝘅 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗗 ·|| HUNGER GAMES x CINDER || ONC 2023 Honorable Mention Amidst the escalating unrest between the windborne utopian city of Lighthaven and its seedy, oppressed underbelly Fumedge, the Grand Duke of Lighthaven, Lucius Sextus, comes up with an ingenious solution. To provide much-wanted respite from the brewing conflict, and achieve the apparent-if-temporary unity, he organizes Gaslight Trials - a highly entertaining panem-et-circenses combat event in the Pits. The combatants may use all steam and thaumaturgy powered augmentations at their disposal, and there is only one rule: defeat, or be defeated. The reward for the last one standing? A chance to start their life anew. A brass key to the city of Lighthaven with a luxurious mansion to call their own within, as well as an aeroship to command. When eighteen-year-old Veda Igglesden steps forward to take her timeworn adoptive father's place in the fight, she might as well be signing her death-sentence. With her eyes fully set on the prize, act-first-think-later Veda must harness the power of technology to try and win for her Papa Otto. Decades of breathing in the toxic air of Fumedge did a number on the old inventor's lungs, and being able to live in the air-filtered Lighthaven would sure come in handy right about now. A high-flying adventure full of gadgetry and intrigue; a pleasing blend of steampunk and postapocalyptic. See Veda unravel the mysterious ploy behind the game's organization, and uncover the truth about her secret origins. Can she cope both with the trials of physical and intellectual prowess, as well as with the trials of life itself: those of love, loss and regret? © 2023 EvelynHail Exclusively on Wattpad Based on prompt 49! Highest ranking #1 in utopia -•- "It's about how your hips move," the hand that sits on my waist finds my hip, his fingertips trailing lightly along the fabric of my skirt. "When you arch your spine," he continues on, letting that same hand migrate, his fingertips resting against that central dip of my back before running upwards with the most gentle firmness. I crane away from the touch which leaves sparking heat in its wake, only forcing me further into his chest. "It's about sexual euphoria." His travelling hand finds my neck, cupping it lightly. "What are you doing?" I ask him, hardly coherent. He leans down, once more letting his warm breath fan over the shell of my ear. "Making a move." He tells me plainly. My breath, in response, catches. "You are awfully bold." I find myself saying. "You don't get anywhere without confidence Allora." -•- Allora has known nothing but wealth and good fortune. Born into high levels, she's surrounded with maids and butlers, with expensive clothes and jewellery. Her world is one she enjoys. That is, until she meets a boy. An insatiable flirt with a charming smile and brazen attitude. Then, worlds collide. -•- Undergoing slow grammatical editing Some mature language and themes Sickly sweet & tragic (you've been warned)
