For over a decade, demons have ravaged the world, escaping the underworld after an ancient artifact was shattered by a mysterious figure. Growing stronger each day, these beings terrorize cities, and despite desperate efforts from hunters and police, the most powerful of them remain nearly unstoppable.
Whispers speak of a chilling truth-demons mark humans to drain their life force and replenish their magic, growing more dangerous with every soul.
Daichi, a 27-year-old widower plagued by a lifetime of misfortune, finds himself marked by one such demon-a powerful and dangerously alluring creature whose true intentions remain a mystery. Does it seek to consume Daichi's soul... or something far more intimate?
As Daichi teeters between survival and surrender, two unlikely allies take up the fight elsewhere: Junichiro "Xavier" Masashi, a high-ranking and battle-scarred General Demon Hunter, and a mysterious Hellhound bound to a mysterious master. Together, they investigate the origins of these evolving demonic threats-seeking out patterns, secrets, and the truth behind the growing invasion before the world collapses completely.
Now, with Daichi trapped in a deadly bond and Xavier chasing shadows beside a creature born of flame and fang, both men face impossible choices. Between love and loyalty, salvation and sacrifice-can they change a world already burning? Or will desire undo them all?
