I watch as he closes his door, he does it so slowly that I can barely comprehend what he has in store for me. This man is everything to me, his dark complexion and his light brown hair, the way he looks in a suit, I can't help but want to kiss him forever. He finally ends up two inches from me and he places a gentle hand on the small of my back, pulling me closer to him. I wrap my arms around him tightly and we stay that way for a moment, "Don't be afriad, Victoria," he murmurs against my neck. "I could never run from you." I pull away and give him a hard look. "How could you not, I'm a mess. No man can love a broken girl." His eyes soften. "Don't say that-"
"Say what Tyler? The truth? They all promise they'll stay, but not one keeps it. Everyone gets tired of me at some point and so will you." He doesn't say anything and I almost laugh at how right I am. Out of no where he grabs my face, "I'll do whatever it takes." And before I know it our lips press, and the tears come.
