My Colors Are You
Rory doesn't believe in second chances-especially not the kind that come wrapped in late-night stares and the echo of unsaid things. After a year away from campus, she returns quieter, a little more hollow around the edges, and nowhere near ready to face what she left behind. She's good at pretending everything's fine. Until Harley-the boy who sees through everyone-starts unraveling the lie. He's all edges and shadows, more bruised heart than bad boy. And when their paths crash again, it's anything but gentle. Between secret glances, late-night confessions, and the chaos of people who pretend they're okay, Rory starts to realize that healing isn't about going back. It's about being seen-messy, uncertain, and real. And maybe, just maybe, finding the one person whose colors match your own. A Starling's Redemption
Book two of the Whitaker Family Chronicles... Repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Three words that are not familiar to those trapped in the cult of social status. Amanda Talmage is from a family trapped in that cult. At 16 years old, she's a beautiful, rich, spoiled brat, status worshiping, mean girl - i.e. - a Starling. Amanda is miserable, and feels hopelessly trapped in her life of status. Dick Ryndon, Amanda's ultra-wealthy ex-boyfriend, only saw her as a trophy. He didn't love her, but everyone told her that staying with him was best for her status. That is, right up until the moment when he dropped her off in the country, and left her for dead. Joshua Whitaker is a hard working middle class boy, with a warm heart, and a strong conscience. At 16, he has an after school job, and drives a pick-up. He and his family routinely help-out their elderly neighbors. They are good Samaritans, living out the precept- "love your neighbor." Joshua and Amanda have never liked each other. But when Amanda finds herself stuck in Joshua's family's home, she's exposed to another way of living. Amanda is forced to face herself, her past, and an uncertain future. Blood Ties
𝟐 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧. The second story after 'Moon Bound'. You must read the first one to read 'Blood Ties' - In such hellish times, how do you survive? For Cadence and Accalia Larren, it would be to wield silver as if it courses through their veins and to never submit to their enemies, lycans. But that all changed for Accalia once she crossed paths with a lycan by the name of Lycus Fenris. They were enemies but always mates. But it seems more creatures stalk the night and it's not just lycans. And with that, there are more bodies to bury, bonds to break and weapons to sharpen. As for Cadence Larren, she'll find herself drawn to darkness, questioning where her loyalties lie and bound to someone who was only meant to perish. Who's to say the huntress can't be the hunted?Complete
